YOUR CLUB NEEDS YOU !! As we approach the AGM in a number of weeks I am calling on our members to consider volunteering in some capacity within the club. Our current executive is currently under pressure multi-tasking various roles throughout the club and we are desperately seeking to grow our executive and create a number of sub committees to carry out various roles within the club and help with our development. Some of our executive are moving on and we have positions across all areas in the club to fill! Our secretary is moving on, as is our PRO and our juvenile, men’s and ladies' sections were sections that both Kieran and I tried to cover this year along with our own roles but we could not give them the time they require and deserve. The rest of our executive are also carrying out multiple roles and we desperately need new people to come forward and help us grow with new ideas and share their expertise! We have development, fundraising, events & other sub committees we are hoping to fill this year along with a lotto coordinator to run our lotto, county board delegates to represent us at juvenile, ladies football and camogie boards and also a communications team. If you could spare a portion of your time or expertise maybe once a month we would be thrilled to hear from you.

We are incredibly lucky to have such dedicated coaches and volunteers within the club already, such as our facilities team, referees and nursery coaches, but as the saying goes “Many hands make light work” and currently it is unsustainable for us to be able to grow and develop as we wish to if we do not get some additional people to help us achieve our goals in developing us to be the best we can be!
