Child Safeguarding Audit – 5 Must Do’s

As we get closer to returning to training for our underage players on the 26thApril, we are undergoing an audit of our child safeguarding compliance.

It is mandatory for any volunteer intending to work with children, to complete and adhere to the 5 Must Do’s below:

An email has been sent to all coaches however, if you did not receive it please provide the necessary information below to Maureen at childrensofficer.garda.dublin@gaa.ie by 20th April 2021. 1. GAA / LGFA / Camogie Garda Vetted Number – the online vetting form can be found here

2. Copy of GAA Child Safeguarding 1 Certification – links to courses /refreshers can be found @ Temporary Safeguarding 1 Programme | GAA DOES and Safeguarding Refresher

3. Copy of your GAA / LGFA / Camogie Foundation Award (coaching certificate) 4. Confirm you read and will adhere to the Code of Behaviour Underage and submit a signed copy of Page 65 + 66.

5. Confirm you read and will adhere to the Club Underage Player Participation Guidelines.
